Chris and I hiked Buck Mountain in Lake George, NY on 2007 March 24. Not an overwhelming hike by any means but the rewards were tremendous as we got a wonderful view of the lake. It was a warm day [we over packed] but there was still plenty of snow on the ground but was rapidly melting by the end of the day.

Melting ice brings awesome crystals.
Plenty to see 360 degrees, at the summit.
Chris felt like jumping off the mountain...
... so I joined him down there.
This was a MASSIVE tree that fell across the river.
